A new Alpha version is released. This version is known as “The Versus Update” as it will have a new gameplay mode to battle in teams against each other. Most of the code has been rewritten and optimised to support Versus and lots of bug have been fix. For more details check out the updates section below or pay a visit to the trello board. Alpha Version 2 is available in the download section of the site.

New updates and feature:
New Game Mode: Versus
The new versus game mode will support 1v1 or 2v2 player games when each has to defend their own towers. First team where the tower gets destroyed loses the game. Teams can buy enemy waves to add to other teams spawn queue.

Enhancements to Menus:
User Settings:
- Now has option to change background music style
Multiplayer Settings:
- Now has option to choose team via character select menu
- Choosing a character will also assign a player color
Enhancements to Game Play:
- Improved the code to join and leave servers
- Rewritten code to join a server
- Rewritten code to perform end game travel
- Players can now damage other team
- Currently you can select playable units multiple times
- Versus mode option to spawn Boss to attack there turrets
Unit Enhancements:
- All turret attacking units are now using AI to find next target
Building Towers:
- Optimized code to build a tower. now only runs on owning client
- Selection menu changes only happen on correct client
- Turret selected for upgrade of build is properly highlighted on all clients
- All turrets now reflect owner color
- Building collision improved
- Building cost deduction improved
Maps:
- New map Coop Map 2
- New map Versus Map 1
- New map Versus Map 2
High Score:
- All game modes now properly submit high score for each player

- Minimap will not render correct
- Players can join in while map started for about 1 minute (might cause a issue if this happens)
- heal potions are just place holders and can not be used
