Today i will be showing a little of the progress i made with the RTS part of the game. I have focused on getting the harvesters that mine the ingame currency up and running. Right now the model pieces have been put together and the animation blueprints and blend spaces have been setup for basic animation. Right now there is no AI yet inplace to have player interaction or react when they are attacked this will be for feature work.
Currently they follow a simple AI algorithm to spawn and harvest game currency from 1 of the 2 locations and bring it back to the main building.
The first unit is the “Bane Wolf”. This is a cheap and fast unit that can run on above average speed but carry only a low amount of ingame currency.

The second unit “Gready Dwarf” is a more heavy unit with more health (and maybe armour in the feature). As the unit is a heavier unit it will walk slower than the “Bane wolf” but carry more game currency. You might say what is a dwarf without a hammer, well no dwarf at all so i will add a hammer and shield in a later stage.
